We all know that exercise provides many health benefits and this especially true for seniors. The key to successful aging and maintaining independence is becoming and staying physically active. It’s never too late to start a fitness regime and our staff is specially trained to support the needs of those over 50 and meet their needs at their current physical level.

Primeplus has a wide variety of Health and Fitness classes including: Yoga (chair or floor), Water Therapy, Zumba, Stretch, Flex & Tone, Tai Chi and Ballroom Dancing. We also offer a series of healthcare clinics, ranging from flu shots, blood pressure, hearing, and dental screenings to presentations and workshops by host guest speakers on a variety of health related topics such as diabetes or hypertension.

Primeplus is also a Silver Sneakers location and your membership fee may be discounted if you are a member of the Silver Sneakers program. Come in to the office and talk to our staff and find out more about how you can join the Senior Center and participate in these fun and supportive fitness classes.

Finally, if you are looking for one on one support of your fitness and weight loss goals, we’ve got you covered there as well. Our instructors meet with seniors to design a program that fits both your schedule and your fitness level. One on one classes are just $10 for 30 minutes.
