THE RETIRED SENIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM (RSVP) LUNCHEON AT PRIMEPLUS NORFOLK SENIOR CENTER

Recognition, everybody wants to feel that their efforts are appreciated. Although volunteers are not paid we know that it is important to recognize their hard work, and dedication. One of the ways that we do this is through an annual volunteer recognition luncheon and awards ceremony. Volunteers are treated to lunch and acknowledged with awards that highlight their service. Every year we honor those that go above and beyond the scope of their volunteer position and the Advisory Committee reviews and selects the volunteer of the year from nominations received. The Honorable Mayor Wright has come out every year to present this award. We had a DJ, door prizes and a great lunch for everyone to enjoy.

Please consider volunteering it’s a great feeling. You choose how many hours and we can offer a variety of opportunities for you to choose from. Contact me by phone or email: 757-625-5857 or vrossy@primeplus.org.
